Tuvan Rochford
Senior Consultant

Tuvan Rochford is a senior consultant at The Nous Group. She works across all areas of the business, namely Strategy and Public Policy, Organisational Capability and Leadership and People Development.

Tuvan has experience as a Project Manager and Consultant. Examples of projects she has worked on include:

• Performance management review for a large Victorian government client. This included a review of their culture, processes and supporting technology and the development of recommendations to support improved performance management and development across the workforce
• Implementation of a newly implemented case management system. A client’s system had been reported to increase workload and reduce employee engagement. Nous recommended changes to the case documentation process, system usability, training of case workers and change management communication. These recommendations reduced processing time by up to 50% in some cases
• Project management capability design for an emergency services organisation. This resulted in the establishment of a PM function to support strategic projects. The function was to provide to projects: skilled personnel, access to PM tools and a common project methodology, and general project support
• Organisational design review of a Victorian Government Department of 10,000+ staff. The project mapped the current structure and service delivery processes with the new strategy, and identified changes (structural, process, roles etc) required to align these
• Reviewed a number of IT functions to improve the structural design, clarify roles and accountabilities, build key capabilities and simplify complex customer facing processes. I also supported the facilitation of workshops to engage staff with the changes
• Knowledge management strategy for a large Victorian government organisation. This involved a comprehensive audit and analysis of their 300+ knowledge initiatives and the development of a five year strategy
• Development of a 25 year vision for Victoria’s energy networks organisation. This included the development and documentation of a series of scenarios developed by industry stakeholders

Prior to joining The Nous Group, Tuvan worked as a research assistant for the University of Melbourne, investigating the relationship between ICT and business strategy at a large teaching hospital.

Tuvan completed a Bachelor of Information Systems (first class Honours) at the University of Melbourne. At university, Tuvan was one of two students in her year awarded with a place on the Dean's Honours List for academic excellence and a scholarship for her Honours degree in Information Systems.
