Lea Thorpe
Principal

Lea specialises in the fields of executive and leadership development. In collaboration with the client and each participant, Lea brings a profound commitment to realising outcomes which enhance the personal as well as the professional capacities of people.

Lea's extensive experience includes:

• Design and facilitation of over fifty leadership and management development programs for a wide range of organisations across Australia including Centrelink, Austrade, the Department of Treasury and Finance, Qantas, ANZ, Waste Services, AGL and Ford Australia
• Design, delivery and debrief 360 degree questionnaires for over forty organisations, this work included providing insights to the organisation which informed people strategy and the development of learning and training options for staff
• Design and delivery of performance management systems which focus on meaningful conversations and honest outcomes
• Working with a range of teams to identify the issues which were preventing them performing at their best and then assisted them to implement strategies to lift their performance and raise morale
• Facilitating coaching workshops and conducted post-workshop coaching for senior leaders resulting in improved team performance
• Facilitating group programs and provided one-on-one debriefs for diagnostic tools such as MBTI, Belbin Team Roles Questionnaire, Genos Emotional Intelligence questionnaire
• Coaching individual executives, managers and team leaders to address their development areas leading to improved performance
• Design of interactive workshops and facilitated conferences to determine strategies for improved performance
• Design and facilitation of innovative mentoring programs for senior managers

Prior to joining The Nous Group, Lea was a senior director in a large private sector organisation providing services to a diverse and complex range of clients.

Lea is an accredited facilitator of OEP (Organisational Effectiveness Profile), MBTI(EIR), Belbin Team Roles, Genos Emotional Intelligence questionnaire and the Work Interest Schedule. Lea and has postgraduate qualifications in Education and is currently completing her Masters in Business Administration.
