Chris has worked on projects with Commonwealth and state public sector clients across Australia and with government clients in the Middle East. He has broad industry experience across transport, human services, education, land use and planning, energy, infrastructure, regional development and regulation. His areas of expertise include organisational and functional reviews, business case development, program and project management, business process improvement and policy development.

Project experience

  • Multiple projects with the Child Support Program to review and improve its procedures for the collection and management of child support debt.
  • Management of a large organisational transformation project for an Abu Dhabi government central agency to enable it to deliver a new strategic mandate.
  • High‑level review of roles and responsibilities across government regulatory and business processes that support statutory planning, land release and major project facilitation.
  • Strategic review of a government Department’s budgetary framework and service delivery activities.  The review made recommendations on a framework for assessing core business and service delivery priorities to inform future budget strategy, governance, organisational design and performance.
  • Completed a review of the governance and accountability arrangements for a GBE that provided recommendations for improving accountability arrangements in order to effectively and efficiently achieve its statutory functions.
  • Developed a high level issues paper and business plan for a newly established Government entity to enable it to meet its objectives following detailed industry consultation.
  • Developed a business case for an Australian university which assessed the costs, benefits, risks and financial sustainability of a range of accommodation options that was approved by the University Senate
