Christine has held senior leadership roles within the Australian and European subsidiaries of global analyst and consulting organisations. Her experience extends to private sector industries including utilities (telecommunications and electricity), financial services, mining, media, entertainment, services and retail. Her work in the commercial sector informs and assists her public sector work and keeps her abreast of the broader context of market, organisational and technological trends for her clients.
Project experience
ICT refresh
- project managed and delivered change management services to support the transition of a major ICT refresh across a large commonwealth agency.
Communication platforms
- developed e‑Learning platforms across programs that enabled training and communication to rural and remote communities
- provided strategic advice to numerous community care organisations on the effective implementation of remotely delivered training modules for case workers in the field
- designed connected classroom platform solution architectures for education departments across Australia.
Change management
- co-facilitator on the current Bastow Leading Organisational Change program, which is being delivered to principals in the Dandenong-Springvale area. She also co-facilitated delivery of the original Bastow pilot program.
- provided strategic advice and defined the change management program and associated implementation roadmap for the treasury and finance department of an Australian state government to improve information management.
Organisation architecture
- lead quick turnarounds of poorly performing organisations through integrated refurbishment of culture, organisational structure, systems, work processes, market strategies and customer relationships
- conducted an organisational review of the corporate and network service function of a large Commonwealth department, the resulting change management program re-aligned people, processes and systems with departmental level objectives
- conducted the organisational architecture re-design of an Australian peak body in the aged and community care sector to strengthen national lobbying efforts in light of recent changes to industry regulation.
People and talent strategy
Conducted a project for the CIO Group (CIOG) of the Australian Defence Force as part of their major reform program to define a five‑year strategic workforce plan.
This included:
- detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis of CIOG's labour demand and supply situation
- assumptions forecast and detailed scenario analysis giving descriptions of different future scenarios and their likelihood (based on the assumptions forecast)
- extensive stakeholder consultation, including high level representatives of the Australian Defence Force development of a workforce model across 2000 plus employees, with quarter by quarter projections over a five year period to provide a gap analysis based on predicted workforce supply
- strategic initiatives assessment identifying practical strategies and policies to address identified gaps and surpluses.

Past employment
Christine co-founded the software advisory and consulting practice for Ovum, London. She later relocated to the Melbourne office where she started the organisation’s IT research and consulting practice across Asia-Pacific. Most recently she held the role of consulting director for IDC Australia and New Zealand.
Interests
Christine loves discovering new places, especially if it involves a physical challenge and having unexpected adventures, whilst meeting new friends. Her other passions are listening to music, reading and creative writing.
