Ian Young

Ian has worked on projects with private and public sectors. He has industry experience across education, health, corporate and financial services and resources and energy. Ian has also worked with a number of not-for-profit groups.

Project experience

Leadership program design and facilitation

• designed and facilitated numerous leadership development programs for public and private sector clients for senior executives, managers and front line staff
• designer and facilitator of key leadership modules for the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development
• designer and facilitator of two key leadership development programs for a major national insurance company
• designer and facilitator of major leadership and core skills development program for the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.

Strategy development and facilitation

• facilitated numerous strategic planning days for business, government and not-for-profits
• worked with the Office for the Community Sector to develop strategy and programs to increase the up-take of ICT within the NFP sector
• worked with a leading Victorian university to develop and refine strategies for improving engagement and relationships with external stakeholders.

Ian came to consulting after a twenty year career in manufacturing, corporate services, logistics and distribution, marketing, general management and industrial relations.
