Jeremy’s expertise is not sector specific. His experience and qualifications allow him to work in areas of organisational capability, leadership and financial management across public and private sector organisations.

Project experience

Leadership

• worked with the senior SES leadership teams in large APS organisations to achieve real cultural and organisational change
• worked with senior executives on the assessment and impact of individual management styles and behaviours and coaching to achieve more effective management styles and strategies
• facilitated leadership workshops.

Organisational capability

• worked with a range of public sector and not-for profit organisations on a range of change management projects
• assisted with a number of public sector agencies on business planning processes
• reviewed service delivery models for agencies with dispersed regional operations
• advised on governance models and capability for APS organisations.

Financial advising

• product costing for a central APS agency providing services on a fee for service basis to other APS clients
• reviewed large scale capital projects as part of Department of Finance and Deregulation Gateway Review processes
• advised on financial management models for a large private sector organisation.

Past employment

Jeremy has extensive experience at senior executive service level across a range of APS departments and agencies.  He has substantial corporate management experience having been chief operating officer for two large APS organisations and chief financial officer for three.  Jeremy also has a wide range of experience working at senior levels in policy development and program delivery.

Interests

Jeremy’s interests are wide and varied. He is a passionate long distance walker, a keen gardener with a large bonsai collection and he loves all aspects of food and wine, particularly cooking. Jeremy’s other significant interests include swimming, travel and family history research.
