Jessica is Executive Assistant to Tanya Smith, Adelaide Office Leader and Denise Sykes, Perth Office Leader. In addition, she supports the Perth and Adelaide teams and co-ordinates the administration of both offices. Jessica combines her energy and collaborative approach with high level co‑ordination skills to assist her colleagues to provide expert professional services to their clients.

Since joining Nous, Jessica has worked in the education, defence, primary and energy industries in the public and private sector.
Project experience
Jessica has broad experience in the areas of organisation and client engagement, including:

co-ordination of meetings with CEOs and senior executives in the corporate sector, federal and state governments

supported eight projects for an energy regulator that included the development of their strategic development plan, stakeholder engagement and plan, leadership development and customer service focus

project managed the senior executive leadership program for the Department of Defence

organised 30+ stakeholder interviews in the VET sector across Australia, which informed the report on a detailed business case for a Unique Student Identifier

supported the project to progress a detailed strategic plan for a major Victorian university

oversaw and implemented the set-up of the Adelaide office
- developed and implemented administrative processes to improve the effectiveness and delivery of Nous’ Adelaide services.

Past employment
Jessica has experience in the health industry as a liaison to health providers and the Department of Veteran Affairs. She also co-ordinated a government grant that provided broadband to homes and small businesses located in regional South Australia ‘blackspots’.
Interests
Jessica enjoys winding down with a novel and has been learning to play the violin since 2010.
