Past employment

Prior to Nous, Kate was selected as an Australian Youth Ambassador for Development (AYAD), an Australian Government - AusAID initiative which places skilled young Australians in developing countries to achieve sustainable development. Kate worked in the Philippines with a local NGO mandated to target poverty alleviation through sustainable agricultural projects. In this capacity she worked to establish livelihood projects for some of the regions most marginalised communities. Kate provided project management skills, supply chain analysis, market access, capacity building and institutional strengthening.

Kate also has three years experience in the finance sector working at AMN AMRO/Royal Bank of Scotland as a graduate trainee. She gained exposure to a number of business units including investments group, debt capital markets, foreign exchange trading and investment banking. This diversity provided her with a holistic understanding of multiple facets of the business and allowed her to develop a comprehensive set of qualitative, quantitative and analytical skills.

Interests

Kate has an interest in international affairs and development work. She is motivated by the opportunity to work with exceptional people and develop her professional skills.
