Sophie’s areas of expertise are in communication, data analysis, survey development, and psychometric assessment. She is a provisionally registered psychologist and has several years’ experience as a university researcher and intern psychologist. Project experience

Organisational development and change

  • played a key role in the development of a culture assessment for a private health organisation

  • partnered with a leading government health organisation to answer key questions relating to the current and future needs of indigenous health worker workforce across Australia.

Past employment

Sophie has worked as a researcher with the Disability Research Unit (DRU) at the University of Adelaide. She has also worked as an intern psychologist with PricewaterhouseCoopers, consulting within the National Health Practice in Sydney, and with Locher Human Resources and Human Interest Partners. 

Interests

Sophie is a passionate advocate against discrimination. She was awarded an APEX studentship for her research work in the area of supporting people with an intellectual disability in the workplace. Sophie also spent time in Canada working as an employment coach for people with an intellectual disability. Outside work, Sophie loves to cook new and challenging dishes for her family and friends. She also practices Bikram yoga in her spare time.
