Tamara Heligman

Tamara has six years project management experience, primarily in the not-for-profit sector. Her experience ranges from organising one-off workshops to managing large federal and state grants.

Project experience

• project management of the design and implementation of tailored leadership development strategy for a fund management company
• project management and co-design of frontline leadership program for large public sector agency. Program includes two-day workshop, coaching and ROI evaluation
• strategic planning for a Sydney-based not-for-profit, including project management and design of planning workshops and stakeholder consultations, analysis, and report
• creation of a comprehensive toolkit and an accompanying training module on forming and managing university based volunteer clubs in the United Arab Emirates
• managed a state volunteer program for low-income adults, aged 60+, providing intensive case management to a group of forty seniors
• managed a state-wide student engagement campaign, encouraging university students to become active in volunteering and politics
• designed and developed standards for citizenship education within a higher education context, as a member of the Maine State Task Force for Citizenship Education.

Past employment

Prior to Nous, Tamara established and coordinated volunteer programs for not-for-profit organisations and educational institutions in the United States and the United Arab Emirates.

Interests

Tamara loves swimming, reading, travelling and exploring.  A native New Yorker, she’s happy to be living in Australia close to her extended family.
