Corporate operations aligned with organisational direction and needs

To prepare AusAID for rapid growth and increased devolution of Australia's overseas aid effort, Nous worked with the Corporate Operations Branch to build a strategy for service delivery for 2010 and beyond. Nous worked with the Assistant Director-General of the Branch and his team over a series of workshops to build a realistic picture of the future operating environment, guiding principles of service delivery and key strategic drivers for the branch.

After a series of interviews with branch stakeholders in Australia and overseas, Nous and the directors of individual sections identified the deliverables and major transition projects, including key performance indicators for each item and interdependencies across the branch and within AusAID.

As a result, the branch was aligned around a common set of actions presented in a clear robust document and had already begun implementing a number of the transition projects identified.
