Climate change strategy and scenario planning

Nous was engaged by a Victorian energy company to conduct an energy scenario modelling project, covering five scenarios and four carbon price trajectories. Nous consultants analysed a massive array of modelling results and documented the ultimate long term effects of complex inter-dependencies between market outcomes, emissions reductions, technology choices, electricity prices, gas prices and policy settings, both at a national level and at regional level. The project covered all potential power generation technologies relevant to Australia, except nuclear.
