Demand model for disability support services in Victoria

The Department of Human Services (Vic) engaged Nous to create an economic model to forecast demand for the provision of disability services. The model forecasted future service demand using demographic, technological and economic drivers of demand. Using projections of departmental budgets and expectations around the costs of service provision across a wide range of services and disability types, Nous forecast service provision across the spectrum of Disability Service Division services. This model was flexible and incorporated new scenarios for analysis in strategic decision making.
