End to end overhaul of business operations

A state government authority engaged Nous to review the camera enforcement programs delivered in conjunction with the state's revenue office. The state government had announced the roll-out of major new red-light and speed camera programs. The processes for managing the end-to-end enforcement function associated with these programs had evolved from early film-based camera requirements and were not geared to cope with the impending high volumes of digital images.

Nous delivered an integrated service delivery model, featuring a new end-to-end process, new governance arrangements and technology requirements and advice on high level organisation implications. As well as meeting new program requirements, the new design delivered productivity benefits with an IRR greater than 9%.

A joint agency steering committee accepted the recommendations and Nous has subsequently been engaged to co-ordinate an implementation program.
