Information-sharing to support cross-government decision making and improve community outcomes
A central state department engaged Nous to identify an improved approach to the collection and delivery of information to support place based decision making, consistent with the government’s commitment to improving outcomes for local communities. Stakeholders from multiple jurisdictions were consulted to identify the requirements and anticipated benefits of the solution. Stakeholder engagement and buy-in to the solution was obtained through developing a prototype to demonstrate the system features and benefits. Nous delivered a detailed set of recommendations covering the required governance arrangements, information model and solution architecture, supported by a thorough business case detailing the benefits, costs and implementation of the recommended solution.
