Interdepartmental impacts assessment for the newly formed department

The Department of Regional Australia, Regional Development and Local Government engaged the Nous to undertake a study of activities of Australian Government agencies that are likely to have a significant impact of regional Australia. The purpose was to inform the newly created Department of the policy, program, regulatory and operational impacts of agencies and identify those that the Department should take a particular interest in. The report provided recommendations about how the Department might best prioritise and engage with other APS agencies. The results of the study are expected to be considered by the Secretaries Committee on Regional Australia and influence strategic priorities for the new Department.
