Mid-term strategy for business banking division of a 'big four' bank

The business banking division of one of Australia's four major banks, and one of Australia's largest businesses in its own right, engaged Nous to formulate its mid-term strategy. The newly appointed executive manager of the business banking division required a clearly articulated and tested strategic outline that would set the priorities for the next three to five years.

Nous undertook a wide-reaching review and analysis of all aspects of the division's operations including its: financials, markets, channels, products, customers and drivers of customer satisfaction, operating model and people. Recommendations identifying opportunities for revenue growth and efficiencies were presented across the spectrum of its operations.

The strategy was very well received and endorsed by the head of the division and the executive leadership team. The project demonstrates Nous' strong capability in business banking, financial services and more broadly in private sector strategy.
