Nous was engaged to deliver post merger integration benefits for the organisation's largest merger to date.
The financial services entity has an M&A strategy agenda for achieving scale in the Australian market and this acquisition of a financial planning and investment network was the largest. The client team had some smaller M&A experience but not of this size and we worked with both the project sponsor and the project manager to build deep PMI skills to deliver the acquisition premium.
A number of new tools and approaches have now been integrated and codified into the client's overall M&A approach for future acquisitions and integration.
