Review of information system operating model
A state government agency engaged Nous to review the operating model of a $90 million information system that supports 3,500 staff in service delivery to tens of thousands of Victorians every week. Executive management required greater confidence that system support and operation arrangements ensured a cost-effective response. Nous assessed the structure, functions, roles and resource levels required to operate and evolve the system. We recommended a streamlined organisational structure supported by stronger governance and enhanced business analysis capability. The changes were approved for implementation. They boosted operational efficiency and will ensure the system evolves to match future business needs to deliver full potential return investment.
