Strategic plan for the Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism

Nous worked closely with the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and key officers at the Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism to design and facilitate a two day strategic planning workshop.

This workshop was to set the direction for the Department across various policy issues in resources, energy and tourism. The process included a tailored staff survey (run by iedex). The first day of the workshop was attended by staff from across the agency. They considered the results of the staff survey, the common themes for the Department, and the APS’ values and Department’s behaviours. The second day was attended by all SES and set divisional deliverables, aligned with the overall organizational direction.

A first draft corporate plan was developed during the workshop for refining in the follow up process.
