Strategic planning for a global mining organisation's Australian operation

Over a long period Nous has been engaged to facilitate this global mining organisation's executive committee's three day strategic planning session. While the company was achieving record profits on the back of strong growth in demand, it needed to overcome significant challenges to take full advantage of the opportunity and maximise profitability Nous distilled the key issues from interviews with executive members and then guided the meeting to set strategies, priorities and operational plans. Nous worked with the CEO after the meeting to develop the key messages to communicate across the company and the processes to cascade the plan throughout the entire organisation so it will be reflected in individual work agreements.  The one-page strategic plan prepared by Nous is the screen saver on all computers. Nous drafted the CEO's presentation to the board on the plan and strategic directions.
