World leading on-line network for Victoria’s export-orientated businesses

The Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development (Now, Department of Business and Innovation DBI) engaged Nous to develop a business plan for its Victoria Export Network (VEN) online service.

Based on industry consultation and international research, this plan included a comprehensive suite of online services for Victoria's export community. Services included online business matching, networking, grants management, trade fair and mission management and export information. The genesis of the VEN was the 2006 Victorian Jobs and Exports policy which committed $4.8 million to establish the VEN.

Underpinned by a commitment by the Government, the VEN has become a vibrant, world leading on-line business network.
