Leadership program for senior managers in ACT Government

Nous partnered with ACT Government Chief Minister’s Department (CMD) to design and deliver the Take the Lead program for senior managers.

The program included an orientation workshop, a three-day leadership residential, a two-day public policy workshop, and a two-day strategy and culture workshop. These workshops were supplemented by individual 360-degree feedback, peer partner coaching and a business challenge in which participants completed a workplace project that delivered personal, team and organisational outcomes to the ACT Government. The program established innovative networking and collaboration opportunities across departments through the annual alumni events.

Over 6 years Take the Lead built an enviable reputation as the premier leadership development program for ACT Government senior managers.  Nous facilitators were experienced and knowledgeable both in the ACT Government context and in engaging participants in experiential learning. Since 2003, Nous has delivered this program to 16 groups; over 300 senior managers, many of whom now hold senior executive positions.
