Implementation plan for expanded government department

Nous was engaged by the Population Health Division (PHD) within the Department of Health (NSW) to establish an expanded Office of the Chief Health Officer (CHO).

Nous reviewed the existing and expanded functions of the Clinical Policy Unit and developed an implementation plan for an expanded Office of the CHO. Nous worked in three phases, the first of which involved research and analysis to understand the challenges and gaps with the current structure and to document a clear rationale for change. The second phase involved developing structural options, informed by the Nous Organisation Architecture Pyramid. Once the preferred design was confirmed, Nous worked with key people within the PHD to produce a road map for implementation.

The work was a success and was praised by the CHO and the PHD Executive.
