Leadership skill development delivers results for a federal government department

The Department of Human Services (the Department) engaged Nous to design and deliver an ongoing leadership development program for APS6 leaders in the Debt Management Branch of Centrelink. Held every 6 months, these three-day workshops provide participants with opportunities to build leadership skills, develop projects they can apply in the workplace and learn from each other.

Nous designs each workshop separately to respond the leadership needs of the Department at the time of the workshop. As the Department moves into the implementation phase of Service Delivery Reform (SDR), Nous designed the latest workshop to actively engage leaders in the change process and reflect on what leadership they need to provide during this time of uncertainty.

The program has successfully engaged participants in the learning process and projects developed by participants during the program continue to provide return on investment for the Department.
