Mid-project review steers multi-million dollar project back on track

A wholesale gas market operator engaged Nous to undertake a mid-project review of a major ICT system development project required to support market reform. The CEO and Board sought assurance that published implementation dates were going to be met. Nous interviewed key project stakeholders and reviewed project documentation to assess key risks and issues facing the project, before reporting to the CEO and Board on the confidence level for delivery of the system to the published schedule. Nous recommended specific actions to reduce delivery risk and improve project team delivery capability. The Board endorsed all Nous recommendations and the system was successfully delivered on time to support the gas industry's scheduled move to the reformed market.
