Mobile computing strategy delivers benefits equivalent to 450 additional staff

A law enforcement, security and intelligence organisation with more than 7,500 field staff engaged Nous to develop a mobile computing strategy. The past decade had seen an increasing proportion of field staff time completing administrative tasks in the office.

Nous recommended a program to leverage new public mobile broadband infrastructure, integrate information across applications to streamline processes and deliver early benefits through targeted initiatives using approaches proven overseas. Strategy benefits included streamlined data capture and efficient delivery of high quality information in the field, reducing administrative tasks and improving operational effectiveness through accurate, timely information.

Nous's recommendations were used to shape key decisions on ICT service procurement and equipment purchasing contracts.
