Scenario Planning to inform strategic business directions at Centrelink

Nous worked with Centrelink's Business Integrity BI team to develop a strategic Roadmap for the next 3-5 years. In Centrelink the BI team is a 3000 strong unit responsible for the integrity of Centrelink's payment system. The purpose of the project was to provide strategic guidance and engage the BI workforce to boost morale and increase commitment.

Nous leveraged Scenario Planning as a strategic planning tool. This required identifying some key scenarios for the future operating environment and working through how BI could most effectively operate. Gaps and opportunities were identified.

The outcome was a clearly articulated vision that could be cascaded through the organisation and inform detailed yearly strategic planning.
