Supporting major changes in a large Commonwealth department

Nous was engaged by the Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency (DCCEE) to work with the recently formed Change Management Taskforce.

The department had recently undergone a series of major changes, including the addition of the energy efficiency portfolio. We consulted with senior executives in the taskforce to develop a current state situational analysis of the department. This analysis informed the creation of a detailed change management framework and internal stakeholder consultation plan for the taskforce. We also worked with them to map and prioritise existing business improvement initiatives across DCCEE.

The taskforce rapidly adopted the frameworks and plans developed by Nous, which enabled them to kick-start several urgent change initiatives prior to and immediately following the federal election.
