Sustainability statement for South Australia

Nous worked with Chief Executives and senior officers of the Department of Water, Land & Biodiversity Conservation (SA) and its partner agencies in the environment portfolio to explore how a 'sustainability statement' might position these agencies more effectively. The project involved high level stakeholder consultation and succeeded in producing: the key elements of a sustainability statement that would help portfolio agencies to articulate and promote their contribution to South Australia's sustainable development goals; a fresh approach to SA's Natural Resource Management Plan which improved its ability to prioritise SA's sustainable development goals; and advice on how these agencies can position themselves more effectively as enablers in tackling the state's sustainable development goals.
