Transformation and change strategy to support growth in market share

The Australian and New Zealand division of one of the world's leading FMCG companies engaged Nous to guide the business transformation and assist them with their change management strategy. This aimed to deliver on the 2010 goals of growth and increased market share whilst responding to global directives for reduced headcount. The managing director engaged Nous to work with his executive team to clarify the direction and develop their capability to lead the business through the structural change, ensure delivery of the business goals whilst ensuring staff are engaged and supported.

Nous designed and facilitated an executive workshop with the Pacific leadership team and engaged staff across the business through a series of interviews and focus groups and guided the design of the annual staff forum. The road map for change implementation identified five key activities including effective leadership, communication, business process improvement projects, cultural and change support. Outcomes of the first stage of the process included increased commitment from the leadership team to lead the change, recognition of increased clarity of direction and extremely positive feedback from the staff forum around staff engagement.
